Sónar Istanbul - supported by %100 Müzik - returns to Zorlu PSM on 9th and 10th May 2025, with a lineup that unites legends of electronic music with modern trailblazers and innovative emerging artists.

Headlining the bill, The Chemical Brothers will deliver a high-energy DJ set spanning three decades of dance music, while techno pioneer Richie Hawtin will present his raw, hardware-driven live show DEX EFX X0X.

Joining them are boundary-pushing acts like Aïsha Devi & Emmanuel Biard }§{ present ‘Les Immortelles’, Marie Davidson, and hyped French duo Jersey, alongside standout DJ sets from Modeselektor, Kettama b2b Special Request, and local underground favourites.

Expanding the lineup, Actress, a pioneering figure in electronic music, brings his signature blend of techno, electro, and classical influences, consistently pushing sonic boundaries. Grand River & Abul Mogard present ‘In uno spazio immenso’, a collaboration exploring atemporality and introspection. Released via Caterina Barbieri’s light-years label, the album merges cosmic synths with rich ambient textures, creating vast emotional landscapes, enhanced by MW/MFO’s stunning light design.

Jamie S, known for performing at top European festivals and underground events, brings his dynamic energy to Sónar Istanbul after sharing the stage with acts like Bedouin, Lee Burridge, Satori, Kerala Dust, WhoMadeWho, and Booka Shade. plus44Kaligula, a multidisciplinary artist, merges dark, dramatic impulses with raw vocal sincerity, delivering a theatrical, emotionally charged performance.

Sara Persico & Mika Oki debut their audiovisual collaboration ‘Sphaîra’, a haunting piece inspired by the acoustics of a concrete theatre in Tripoli, Lebanon, designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Once a symbol of social integration, the abandoned structure now echoes the remnants of Lebanon’s civil war, shaping the project’s immersive sound and visuals.
