The world might have stopped during the pandemic, but ANNA never rested. The globally renowned techno DJ used the downtime to further her sound and craft a wave of new music. Since she secured a summer hit with 2019's 'Forever Ravers' with Kittin, she has explored immersive ambient next to powerful techno on a range of vital labels from Drumcodfe to Plus 8, Mute Records to Ahead of Our Time. As her streaming numbers continued to soar, ANNA eventually got back to the DJ booth and lit up dance floors around the globe.
On the production front recently, ANNA continues to reach new heights and evolve and enrich her sound with every new track. She has released her always powerful, driving sounds on essential labels like Drumcode, Novamute and Domino amongst many more. Today’s success has been two decades in the making, stretching back to the nightclub her father owned in the countryside outside São Paulo, where she honed her craft as a DJ from the age of 14. Her journey since then has been marked by passion, hard work and unrelenting dedication to her craft.
2022 is already shaping up to be a huge year for ANNA with a new EP on Afterlife as well as remixes of Adam Beyer & DJ Rush and ‘Isaac’ from Stephan Bodzin’s new album all in the pipeline.
