In 1994, German Archeologist Klaus Schmidt discovered Göbeklitepe, the remnants of a prehistoric time. In the following 25 years, this discovery changed the history of humankind. Göbeklitepe includes remnants of hunter-gatherer tribes and dates back 11000 years, 6000 years older than Stonehenge and 5500 years older from Egyptian Pyramids.
Göbeklitepe VR Experience creates a 10-minute mini-documentary that covers the area in 3D.
In the creation, books from Klaus Schmidt, Andrew Collins and Karl Luckert are used as sources to describe the animal prints and symbols in detail as well as visual descriptions. Currently, the visitors have to visit the area in daytime and above the barriers, but VR Experience allows the audience to visit the site at night and also to experience the inside of temples.
