Sónar will take place between March 24th and 25th at Zorlu PSM for the first time in Turkey. Bringing the fresh trends of electronic music together with sessions and exhibitions that feature the prominent figures of digital art, Sónar will present talented musicians from Turkey's electronic music scene as well as the esteemed musicians of electronica from around the world. On March 24th and 25th, Sónar will spread through the four different stages of Zorlu PSM, which holds up to 5000 people.
The Dutch electronic music duo Weval, who has left its mark on last year with their debut album on the Kompakt label; Tim Hecker, the Canadian musician and producer who has redefined drone, ambient, noise, glitch and experimental electronic music are among the latest additions to Sónar İstanbul's already exciting line-up!
Vildan Gündüz, who has a set that is heavy on minimal techno, house, tech house and techno; Style-ist, one of the most unique DJs of Turkey with his eclectic sets; Büber, who is known with his sets that feature techno, tech house and house music; Villette, the London based producer of techno and electronica; Fasitdaire, known with his programs on dinamo.fm and Radyo Babylon; Mabbas, one of the most experienced names of Turkish electronic music scene who is known with his striking techno sets; Fuchs vs Cervus, two prominent figures of Turkey's electronic music scene who will appear with their b2b sets; and Doğu Orcan, who is known with his sets that have the overtone of techno, disco and electronica sounds; will take the stage at Sónar Istanbul.
Sonar+D, a multidisciplinary event that focuses on the relationship between creativity and technology as well as the digital transformation of cultural industries, brings together experts to present innovations that will shape the future of the creative process in music, visual arts, interactive content and transmedia platforms. Ali Demirel, Ryoji Ikeda, NONOTAK, Francesco Tosini, Atay İlgün and many more will come together on March 24th and 25th as part of Sonar+D!
