Cadie Desbiens-Desmeules, AKA Push 1 stop, is an interactive media artist. Self-taught, she has worked in Montreal’s post-production and visual effects industry for 10 years where she specializes in digital composition. In 2008, she began VJing under the name Push 1 stop and slowly got into generative design using platforms like TouchDesigner, Processing and Notch. Her performances interweave 3D, audio-reactive visuals and live coding. Inspired by the post-humanist movement, Cadie’s work is characterized by a certain meticulousness in the construction of complex narrative environments. She is known for the realism of her organic textures and the finesse of her minimalist designs, which contribute to the development of abstract yet engaging stories made of palpable, near-physical images. Push 1 stop seeks to bring out the human in the process of digital creation and treats the computer as a real collaborator and not just a simple tool, allowing it great freedom.

Galatasaray Üniversitesi Fransız Dili Edebiyatı Bölümü’nden mezun olduktan sonra İstanbul
Moda Akademisi Profesyonel Gelişim Programları’ndan Moda Yönetimi programını
tamamladı. Hemen ardından Türkiye’nin ilk profesyonel moda platformu
olan modakariyeri.com’da çalışmaya başladı. 8 ay boyunca çalıştığı bu girişimde içerik
üretimi, etkinlik tasarımı ve sosyal medya yönetimi gibi pek çok farklı görevde rol aldı. Nisan
2017’den beri Doğuş Yayın Grubu bünyesinde Vogue ve GQ Türkiye dergilerinin Özel Projeler
ekibinde aktif olarak çalışan Deniz aynı zamanda GQ Türkiye dergisinin sosyal medya
editörü.
